Meet Co-Founder
Gabe Pico
Gabe Pico is a lifelong football coach and passionate educator dedicated to helping athletes understand the game on a deeper level. As the founder of Victory Sports Association, a non-profit youth sports league in Phoenix, Arizona, and creator of Outcast Football, Gabe has spent over 15 years providing young athletes with opportunities to grow both on and off the field. His journey began coaching his son, a quarterback, and in searching for tools to help him process the game faster, he found nothing that met his needs. This frustration led to the creation of American Football IQ Flashcards, a tool designed by coaches, for coaches, players, and families who want to "Play Fast" and think like pros. Gabe’s work is also informed by mentoring athletes locally and internationally, further fueling his mission to make high-quality football education accessible to all. His passion for the game and dedication to player development are at the heart of American Football IQ, helping athletes make smarter decisions on the field.

Doug Brady
Doug Brady, born and raised in San Diego, California, has dedicated his life to football—both as a player and coach. From All-League Honors as a Quarterback in high school to playing in college at a Division FBS school.
With experience at nearly every level of college football, he has held various roles including Offensive Coordinator (OC), Quarterback Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, Admissions Counselor, Football Operations Director, and Football Academic Coordinator. Doug’s diverse background gives him a unique perspective as both a college and high school coach, enabling him to connect with players and coaches at every level of the game.
Doug’s mission with American Football IQ is simple: to help players elevate their mental game and enhance their football IQ. By creating tools and resources designed to teach the game at a strategic level, he empowers players to make smarter decisions on the field, beyond just physical ability.
With his wealth of experience, Doug is committed to providing players, coaches, and families the knowledge and tools they need to think like pros and succeed at the highest levels of football.
